Does an iPhone contract have free internet via 3G?

Q. Meaning, if I use the internet on an iPhone contract whilst out and about, is it free?? The O2 website isnt totally clear on this. Thanks in advance
Apologies, I should have stated I meant an O2 contract in the UK. Sorry!

A. You are required to pay a fee to use the 3G internet on the iPhone. AT&T will not allow you to get your phone without this addition to your contract so the answer is no. I believe it is a $30 monthly fee. They require this data plan to use your digital voice mail and other features that require constant internet access.

I heard that you can get rid of it, but don't know how to do so.

Question about switching from blackberry contract to iphone contract with bell?
Q. Hi, i currently have a blackberry curve with Bell, but i really want an iphone 4s. if i get an iphone 4s from eBay and it's factory unlocked would i be able to just switch from a blackberry contract to an iphone contract even though I'm not even a year into my 3 year contract, or would i have to pay a cancellation fee?

A. The SIM card on your Blackberry won't fit the SIM slot on the iPhone 4S device, it uses a smaller sim card so you will need to order a new sim card from Bell or get your SIM card cut to fit the size of the SIM slot.

If you want to keep thing as they are.. by cutting your SIM card you will be able to use it with any unlocked iPhone device without changing anything.

You can also sell your Blackberry and keep the SIM card if the contract can't be changed.

I set up an iphone contract today,do i have a cancellation period?
Q. I set up an iphone contract today, played with the phone for a few hours, little dissapointed with it and reckon could do better with a different phone now. wondering if there is any chance i can take it back, bought it in an O2 shop.

A. yes usually there is 14 to 30days grace period u can return it in store if you don't like it return it as soon posible they might charge u for using phone or restocking fee etc
