What is the difference between jail break and unlocking Iphone?
Q. I have heard that you can jail break an Iphone without unlocking it, what is the difference. My Iphone 4 4.2.1 is jail broken but i understand it cannot be unlocked because the software for unlocking it is not yet available. I am confused, what is the difference?

A. Jail breaking is Differ from Unlocking..
Jail breaking means Allow the Mobile to access with IOS..without any restrictions.also allow you to Install third party programs in your phone....You can jail break the mobile without Unlocking..Unlock the Mobile with Jailbreak ..
Unlocking means allow you to use any GSM Network in your Sim Card....It will make the Mobile Network free.Software Leads to data lose,Hardware crash also damage the Mobile,so you can try using the Safe and secure Unlock code to Unlock it,You can get the Unlock code at reliable cost here http://www.onlinegsmunlock.com/apple-iphone-4/rs7wp9/ and Unlock it.

is it possible to jail break a iphone for a verizon carrier?
Q. i have a friend who has a jail broken iphone he is using his sprint sim card in it. now he is trying to sell me the phone but i am verizon i have a blackberry storm which happens to have a sim card.. i was wondering if it is possible for my sim card to work in it since i haven't heard of anybody with a verizon jail broken iphone.

A. No Verizon is a CDMA carrier and thus incompatible with the iPhone, which is deigned for a GSM carrier. Verizon does not use SIM cards, the one in your Storm is a Vodaphone SIM for use outside the US. Inside the US that SIM is useless.

Also a note, I assure you your friend is NOT using a Sprint SIM in his iPhone because Sprint also doesn't have SIM cards. Like Verizon, Sprint uses CDMA, thus it's a no go for the iPhone. Aside from ATT the only other GSM carrier in the US is TMobile, and they are starting to close accounts found to be using an iPhone on their network.
