Can you transfer photos from a cellphone with bluetooth to an iphone?

Q. I am trying to transfer some photos from an Lg cu500 cellphone to my iPhone using bluetooth. Both phones have bluetooth and both phones recognize the other, but when I try to transfer, it fails. Why?

A. Most newer phones such as the iPhone sport a (crippled) Bluetooth. Meaning it can only allow certain access like a earpiece. The iPhone is recognized on several devices and can link up with some like a MacBook or MacBook Pro. That is the extent of it. It will not allow any transfers or sync through Bluetooth, and the iPhone cannot use Bluetooth stereo headphones or speakers.

Do you need iPhone headphones to work the iPhone Bluetooth?
Q. I have the iPhone 3Gs & i need to know if i need the white iphone/ipod headphones to work the bluetooth.

A. No, the whole idea with bluetooth is that it is wireless. Under settings enable bluetooth and then startup your bluetooth whatever and get them to recognize each other.

How to turn an iphone into a bluetooth gaming headset?
Q. I want to turn my iphone and basic headphones into a wireless gaming headset for Xbox 360. I don't want to use $60 on fancy turtle beaches.

A. The Xbox 360 does not support or use bluetooth. All wireless communications are over RF (excluding the IR remote).

You would need to design a customized receiver that could emulate a supported headset. This will end up costing you more than a normal wireless headset and would take more than a trivial amount of development.
