How come all iPhone cases are sold for 2g/3g/3gs when they arent the same size?

Q. im trying to buy a 2g iphone case, but it always says for 2g/3g/3gs iphones. how can that be if 2g and 3g are different sizes.

A. Either it's a cheap chinese case, in that case they've just made a mistake in their advert/listing, or its a "universal case" which can fit many different sized phones - such as wallets and pouches that aren't designed to fit the phone, just for the phone to go in.

If your looking for some iPhone 2G cases just make sure it doesn't mention either 3G or 3GS in the title to be sure it's for the 2G.

What's the difference between an AT&T iPhone case from a Verizon iPhone case?

Q. I have the Verizon iPhone 4s and I was wondering what the difference is between an iPhone case for AT&T case and a Verizon case? I wanna purchase a specific Speck iPhone case but it's made for the AT&T iPhone. What's the difference? Thanks :)

A. Yes it should i bought a iphone case from Walmart for my ipod touch 2g and it fits almost perfectly.
