How does an iphone differ from a regular cellphone?

Q. I'm new to apple products. Could anyone briefly explain the major advantages of an iphone over a regular cell? I'm making a purchase soon and was going to go for nokia till I heard of this.

Thank you for answering.

A. The iPhone is a very unique phone. First off, it has a touchscreen and it's arguably the most most responsive and high-tech touchscreen available right now. The touchscreen is multi touch (which means you can use more than one finger at a time with no problem), and only responds to your fingers or body parts, with the exception of the iPhone Pogo Stylus. It also has on-board speakers which means you can play music from the iPod on it which can hold from 8 gigabytes to 16 gigabytes, depending on which model you buy ($200 or $300). You can also plug in any headphones you want to and listen privately. For internet, it has 3G connection speed (for a $30 a month service charge which also includes unlimited texting). While most other phones have to browse via mobile sites (watered down sites), you can browse the real site (excluding flash oriented sites). It has a 2 mega pixel camera, compared to 1.3 which is what a lot of others have, although some have up to 5 mega pixel, (more mega pixels, clearer picture). Perhaps the most distinguishing feature is the App Store, in which you can browse apps ranging with prices from free-hundreds of dollars (the very expensive apps being ones that big enterprises use, not the general public). There are games, utilities, entertainment, etc to keep you busy. All in all, the iPhone is about as good as it gets in the phone market. There's just no phone that can compete with it's superior touchscreen and features, also it's more popular in the world, people get more excited about the iPhone than any other phone. All the features i mentioned (excluding the camera) are specifically for the iPhone. I highly recommend it and it is a great phone.
