How is the iPod Touch different from the iPhone?

Q. Other than the iPod Touch not being a phone, what differences are there between it and the iPhone?
1. Are all the same apps available?
2. Do you need some kind of Internet plan to use the iPod Touch with? What kind of plan and how much does it cost?

A. They are the same technical machine, except the iPhone has a phone. Due to this fact the Touch is generally thinner as it doesn't need all the extra phone hardware inside.

They can run the same apps - the Touch can only connect to the internet through a wi-fi connection. So you will need an internet connection already for it to connect through. (Unless you can sign up to wi-fi hotspot services in your area)

What kind of applications can we build for iPhone?
Q. I have come to know that there are 2 categories of applications for iPhone:
1. Native Application
2. Web Application
I like to see live examples of both of them.

A. You can refer to the iPhone dev site at dev.apple.com

Does anywhere do iPhone 1st generation cases?
Q. I need to find where do iPhone (1st Generation) cases? It's hard to find the old generation accessories on the internet, thank you!

A. Go to
http://www.uxsight.com/category/168303/iphone-1st-generation-cases.html

They offer a wide range of iPhone cases. I ever bought an iPhone 1st gen case there, and it works great. Besides, it is really cheap and saved my money.

Hope this helps. Good luck.
