A mint condition iPhone 3GS (been kept in case since bought)
Barely There Case (mint, had for about 5 days)

Original Box
headphones (not the original, but they are headphones)

A. Now that the iPhone's on its way out of Apple, you're not going to get the best price for it. It's not going to be like how much you could have sold it for two months ago for example, i would probably hazard a guess, as yours is 'mint condition'. I would hazard a guess at around the £300-400 mark.

Q. Hi i am selling a iphone 3gs 32gb and i was wondering how to jailbreak and unlock it. I dont know if i should. I just got a brand new screen and all the buttons work perfectly. How much do you think it i could sell if for and its running on 5.0.1. I have no idea how to jailbreak it to make it untethered and is there any way of unlocking it using cydia? A. First of all there is not an untethered for iOS 5.x.x yet- if you read through my answers you will see the countless times i have explained it.
And also selling a jailbroken device is pointless, because the new owner will only sync it to their computer so they can add apps, music, videos etc. Which will un-jailbreak it.
I think you could be looking at $150 - $200 for it.
Also the iOS the device is running, has no impact on the selling price of the phone.
Also with unlocking- trust me on this one. If you don't know what you are doing 100% don't do it. Without creating custom IPSW's you will upgrade your baseband and MESS UP THE PHONE when you try and jailbreak it.

A. I personally would sell the 3GS and buy the iPhone 4 purely because that way you only need to carry around 1 device if say one day you wish to have both on you. This is also good because the iPhone 4 has all the features and more of the ipod touch 4 and you will get more for less money being spent!
