How much does it cost to replace my iphone if the screen is cracked?

Q. I have an iphone 3gs, the screen is cracked on it, but it wont restore or update when its plugged in and it has error 23. How much will it cost to have apple replace it? It is still under the 1 year warranty.

A. The warranty does not cover physical damage. A new phone will be full price.

My water damaged iphone 3gs is not covered by warranty, can i make a swap?

Q. Can i take my friends iphone 3gs with a broken screen and send it in for repair? will apple recognize the difference or will they just repair it as if it was my water damaged phone?

A. yup serial numbers. there are serial numbers everywhere on iphones. on the sim card tray and also on the motherboard itself, phone case, etc. what i would do is sell the water damaged phone on ebay and get a 3gs from craigslist. you will end up paying about $10-$20 =))

Where to get iPhone 4 cover that has a cassette design?

Q. I've seen some iPhone covers that are of a cassette tape design, but unfortunately, these covers are not suited for iPhone 4. Does anyone know where to find ones that can fit iPhone 4?

A. eBay.co.uk have them for both iPhone 4 and 3G/3GS.
