Is it easy to change your iphone case yourself?

Q. I've come across a few youtube videos of websites that will change the color of your iphone case. It's not authentic from Apple itself but looks authentic. Some websites charge about $200 to mail the phone to them which i woulnd't trust doing and others over affordable prices on cases to buy and put on your iphone yourself. Is it easy to replace the iphone front and back cover plate yourself?

A. This is very likely to void your warranty... so I'd stay clear. There are many nice cases out there that don't require to disassemble your phone! Like these:

My mom gave me an Louis Vuitton Paris iPhone case. How can i tell if its real or not?
Q. My mom got some real& fake louis vuitton. She got me an white louis vuitton iPhone case. I put the case on, now its really hard to take off. What can i do to tell its real or fake.

Some people said that you put a drop of water on it. If its dry quickly then its real, if it doesnt then its fake. I dont know what kind of water to use? Hot or cold?

A. Louis Vuitton do 4 iPhone cases.

2 are for the 1st generation iPhone and are not designed for the iPhone 3GS, or future models. These came in a monogram sleeve and in a Taiga leather sleeve with clip on the reverse.

The later iPhone 3G sleeves cam in 2 finished and are in the monogram and Damier Graphite.

All cases have a suede like interior and the 3G cases . Inside the case is the following embossed wording:

Louis Vuitton
Paris
Made in France

On the 3G case 3G is shown on the opposite site.

The cases have a structured feel to them and are not flimsy like many fakes.

How come all iPhone cases are sold for 2g/3g/3gs when they arent the same size?
Q. im trying to buy a 2g iphone case, but it always says for 2g/3g/3gs iphones. how can that be if 2g and 3g are different sizes.

A. Either it's a cheap chinese case, in that case they've just made a mistake in their advert/listing, or its a "universal case" which can fit many different sized phones - such as wallets and pouches that aren't designed to fit the phone, just for the phone to go in.

If your looking for some iPhone 2G cases just make sure it doesn't mention either 3G or 3GS in the title to be sure it's for the 2G.

Hope this helps, iPhoneMaster.
