How do i create a ringtone for iphone?

Q. Can any one help me to create ringtone for my iphone? I don't want to use those songs that I buy from the itunes. I want my own songs.

if you want to use itunes files, convert them to mp3 before uploading them to Ventones. here is how

you basically burn an itunes track to a cd, then reimport into itunes but make sure you reimport as mp3

A. There is a free app in the app store called ringtones that's will allow you to take up to a 1minute part of a song and set it as your ringtone but you have to connect your iPhone to the computer in order to make go tO the ringtone folder of your iphone
