With no experience in computer programming, where can I start to learn making apps for iPhones and iPods?

Q. No experience in computer programming. Need someone to point me to the basics of starting to make apps for iPhones & iPods. Could someone hook me with free books/tutorials/video tutorials so I can learn as fast as possible as I am a fast learner.

A. You need to learn Objective C and Cocoa. The easiest way to do this is to get a Mac and install the Apple developer tools, then work your way through the Apple tutorials and probably also the Aaron Hillegass book "Cocoa Programming for Mac OS X". Once you have Objective C and Cocoa nailed then you can move onto iPhone programming, which uses the same programming language (Objective C) and CocoaTouch, which is essentially just Cocoa for the iPhone/iPod Touch.

When you buy apps for iPhone, where does the money come out of?
Q. I'm planning on getting loads of new apps for my iPhone, but mostly free ones. If I was to BUY an app, even at something like 59p, where would the money come out of?

A. The money is taken from your credit card on file, however if you purchased and iTunes gift card then you can manage it better as all purchases come from that source of funding.

I personally buy a £25 gift card every couple of months and use it for music, apps, tv programmes etc and its simple
