Should I use an existing Apple ID for my new iPad or set up a new one?

Q. I have an iPhone & have the option of using the same account. Should I do that or set up a new one?
What is the difference? Will my stuff from my iPhone transfer to the iPad if I use the same account?
Sorry if this is not in the correct category but I am just rushing.

A. If you set up iCloud, then all your files will be pushed to all your devices. Otherwise, having the same ID for both just means that the same account will be charged for purchases. In the App Store, you can download apps purchased from your account for free even if on another device. Setting up a new account means you'll have to pay for apps all over again.
I personally would use the same account because its simpler and you can use things like find my iPhone more easily.
It is not true that you will get previously purchased music for free, that only works with apps. Unless you have all your music saved on your computer and you use the same computer and you sync both devices with the same library, you have to pay for each copy of the song. It gets especially confusing when using a mutual computer to keep track of two accounts, so there's another reason to use the same one.

How do i sync my iphone back to my new imac?

A. You can use an iphone to Mac transfer program to help.I personally use 3herosoft iPhone to Computer Transfer for Mac.It helps me to transfer my music, videos, photos, podcasts and TV Shows from iphone to my Mac directly and safely. It works well for me,you can give it a try.
Free download it at: http://www.ipodtocomputercopy.com/iphoneconverter/iphone-to-computer-for-mac.html

is there a way to transfer a sidekick to cingular?
Q. you know how people were trying to get the iphone to transfer to like verizon wireless or something? well is it possible to make a sidekick switch to cingular? i have cingular now but i want a sidekick. is there a way?

A. Good luck with that. Sidekicks are VERY hard to unlock. T-Mobile can't even get an unlock code for Sidekicks. Even if you were to manage to unlock a Sidekick, you wouldn't be able to use any of the data features. Sidekicks require special data servers from Danger, Inc., which can only be accessed through T-Mobile's network.
