I want an ipod but is the iphone a better deal?

Q. I can upgrade but I was wondering which do u think is the better deal. An iphone or a ipod (nano). Nothing is wrong with my current phone. Just wanted an ipod and thought will the iphone be a better buy. Will I get the same functions out of the iphone.

Thanks

A. If you want a phone, great go ahead and get the iphone but if all you really want is an mp3 player then go with the ipod. The iphone is too clunky as a standalone mp3 player. You always have unlock your screen and other clicks just to change a song or the volume.

Buy an Iphone at Best Buy or Apple store?
Q. Hey guys Im planning on getting an Iphone but, debating on where should i get it. Bestbuy sells Refurbished Iphones $50 off, and with a BestBuy Point card you get an additional %10 off. I not only want to get the best deal for an Iphone but, I like to go with the best warranty. If I break an I phone, from dropping it. Will best buy replace my phone with their 2 year warranty plan?

A. Best Buys coverage at $15/month will over anything including drops, Apple's "apple care plan" will not cover accidental damage but hardware failures.

IPhone users: How much do you pay monthly & who's your provider?
Q. I want to get an iPhone but I'm really not looking to pay $100 a month because I'm a college student who has other expenses to deal with. The iPhone with Virgin Mobile is ridiculously priced & their service isn't all that great. I'd choose the cheapest plan since I don't really talk on the phone, I mostly text & surf the web.

A. Sprint is $79.99 for 450 minutes, unlimited data and messaging.

Phone costs:

The 8GB iPhone 4 is free with a new activation.

The 16GB iPhone 4S is $99.99 with a new activation.

The 16GB iPhone 5 is $199.99 with a new activation.
