A. I bought this one with a lifetime membership. it worked and did the trick on my 3gs. all the issues appear to be with itunes but i can live happily ever after without using that itunes garbage now its unlocked :)

A. A tethered jailbreak means you have to be connected to a computer to restart your iPod and an untethered jailbreak means you don't have to be connected to a computer to restart

Q. I remember I tried reversing one of my previous iPhones' jailbreak, but then a screen came up asking for the SIM card that came with the purchase of the iPhone. But when I purchased my phone, it didn't come with a SIM card, so I have no idea what they're asking for. Nonetheless, I got myself a new iPhone anyway, so that didn't matter.
